Place buildings, grow production and watch your stronghold advance through visible stages in a persistent medieval browser world.
Your city is the economic and political heart of every campaign. Its buildings occupy real plots, its population supports growth, and its appearance changes as the settlement advances from a vulnerable foundation towards a major seat of power.
A new ruler begins with limited land, workers and resources. Farms and production sites create the foundation for later choices, while workshops, civic buildings and military yards compete for valuable construction space.
Development is not an abstract level hidden behind a menu. The settlement view shows buildings, construction activity and a stronghold that changes as the Keep reaches new milestones.
Faction identity continues into the city itself. Lithuanian timber-and-earth hillforts do not look like English stone keeps, Teutonic brick commanderies or French royal donjons.
Signature buildings reinforce that identity while equivalent economic and military roles follow shared balance principles. The result is meaningful visual character without an automatic winning faction.
Resources and construction continue on the server while a ruler is away. Starting an upgrade therefore affects what can be recruited, traded or defended later.
Strong growth comes from sequencing decisions: secure essential production, meet settlement requirements, preserve reserves and expand only when the realm can support the next stage.
Found a realm and make these decisions inside the persistent campaign.
