Scout rival lands, march armies, raid settlements, conduct sieges and contest provinces across a persistent European map.
The world map connects every settlement to a wider political struggle. Armies travel in real server time, intelligence changes what a ruler can see, and a captured objective must still be held after the first battle is won.
Scouting reveals information that cannot be assumed from the map alone. A prepared ruler can compare a target, choose an appropriate campaign and avoid sending valuable troops into an unknown defence.
Orders do not resolve as an instant button press. Armies move across the persistent map with server-timed arrivals, giving attackers, defenders and allies a window in which to react.
Timing several forces together can matter as much as raw strength. An army sent away from home also leaves fewer troops available to answer a counterattack.
Influence, occupation and garrisons turn individual victories into a contest for lasting authority. Controlled provinces can provide tribute, but approval and rebellion prevent conquest from becoming a one-click reward.
The campaign therefore asks two questions: can your realm take an objective, and can it afford to keep it?
Found a realm and make these decisions inside the persistent campaign.
