Founders service

Rise of the Dukes is an evolving online strategy game. During alpha and beta operation, balance, season schedules, content and availability may change. Planned maintenance and emergency interruptions may occur.

Fair play

Do not automate gameplay, exploit defects, manipulate requests, access another player's account, harass players, impersonate staff, spam, trade accounts or use multiple accounts to gain an unfair seasonal advantage. Report suspected exploits privately rather than demonstrating them publicly.

Your account

You are responsible for protecting your credentials and for activity performed through your account. Use accurate contact information and notify support promptly if access is compromised.

Player content

Ruler, settlement, alliance, heraldry and message content must not be unlawful, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, deceptive or infringe another person's rights. We may remove content, restrict communication, suspend accounts or reverse exploited progress to protect the game and its players.

Seasons and virtual progress

Resources, troops, titles, rankings and other game progress have no cash value. Seasonal worlds may conclude, archive or reset according to their published schedule. Corrective action may be taken when defects or abuse distort a world.

Voluntary development support

Optional contributions support the continued development and operation of Rise of the Dukes. They do not purchase ownership, an investment, financial return, voting control or a gameplay advantage. A realm reaching its displayed funding goal moves into the published development process; it is not automatically released and no launch date is guaranteed unless one is stated separately.

Payments are processed by PayPal and the eligible payment methods it offers to the payer. Funding totals count completed payments and are reduced by refunds or reversals. Contact support promptly about an incorrect or unauthorised transaction. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
